Husna has worked on many multi-million pound development and engineering projects in the UK and internationally, including: government buildings, educational institutions, healthcare centres, mixed use developments, sports and leisure facilities, residential property development, technology projects such as data centres, on and off-shore wind farms, bio mass and bio fuel plants, and land remediation projects.
She has worked in-house at a global electrical powerhouse; one of the worlds’ largest suppliers of electrical systems for power generation and transmission across almost every sector. This insight places her in a strong position to provide informed commercial advice and negotiations from different perspectives.
Husna has extensive expertise working with many engineering, international and bespoke contracts, including JCT, NEC and FIDIC. She regularly works alongside property and banking/financial legal teams as well as the client’s professional teams to successfully deliver large and complex projects.
Husna also provides dispute avoidance and resolution advice on construction and engineering related matters and has experience in all forms of dispute resolution procedures, including litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation.
She also advises on public contract regulations and has defended disputes against local authorities for breaches of the EU Public Procurement Regulations.
